4. Deferment of Tuition Fee Payment
Students who have financial difficulties in settling the tuition fee before the payment due date can apply for Deferment of Tuition Fee Payment by submitting the online application form together with the relevant supporting documents during the application period. All applications will be reviewed by the University on a case-by-case basis. For further enquiry on deferment of tuition fee payment, please send email to the Student Affairs Office via tf-defer@hsu.edu.hk.
5. Late Penalty
If student fail to settle the tuition fee debit note or apply for deferral of tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated deadline, late penalty/(ies) will be levied:
– First week beyond due date $100
– Second week beyond due date $200 (in total)
The University may withhold services to the student who do not settle outstanding fees/payments and will deregister the student. Student who wish to resume study is required to apply to the Registry for reinstatement of registration and an extra $500 of administrative fee will be charged.
